Drug War
Pro Drug War:
http://apecsec.org/war-on-drugs-pros-and-cons/
Con Drug War:
Ending the drug war would be bad because it would result in people being able use drugs and harm themselves. The government spends as much on therapy for legal drugs as it does on containing illegal drugs. Recreational drug use would mean less educational attainment and lower productivity for users.Drug legalization would severely restrict workers rights. Legalizing drugs would make low income individuals more vulnerable.
Who: US Government
What: Drug War in America
When: June 1971- Present Day
Where: United States
Why: Because ending the drug war would have a lot of negative effects
Not ending the drug war there is a great possibility of having a
wider range of corruption not just in the government itself as well as in other
institutions. There is a need to use a large amount of money to fight
against drug lords and manufacturers but the fact is the money being used are
the taxes paid by the citizens and it is truly unfair. This is not just causing
corruption but as well as demoralization of the policemen. Since there are a
lot of using drugs all throughout the world, it makes the work of the police
more dangerous and is requiring a lot of patience. Imprisons hundreds of
thousands of non-violent people who will never become productive. It causes death by overdose by removing any kind of
quality assurance; the potency of drugs in unknown.
Who: United States
